Shamlaji Hospital

Shamlaji Hospital is located right at the post area in Shamlaji, which falls under the Bhiloda taluka. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough with the people coming in from the surrounding villages. The address is basically just the town itself because everyone around here knows where it is. We have been operating out of this building for a long time. The rooms are basic, with white walls and simple beds. We don't have a lot of the high-tech gadgets you might find in a big city hospital, but we have the essentials for taking care of the local community. The days start early here because the farmers like to come in before it gets too hot out in the fields. You might see a few tractors parked outside sometimes. Inside, it smells like disinfectant and old paper. We spend a lot of time talking to the families who come in together. There is a lot of waiting around, so people sit on the steps or under the trees nearby. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth in the taluka is how everyone finds us. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is really heavy, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. It is a humble place, run by people who live right here in Shamlaji.
