Sai Eng Works

If you are driving down the Dhansura Ahmedabad Highway, you’ll eventually pass by us at Borwai. Sai Eng Works is right there near Po Rajpur. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the trucks passing by on the highway, but we are used to it by now. The shop floor is usually where you will find most of us. We have got some old machines that still run better than the new ones, though they take a bit of coaxing in the morning. Being out here in Dhansura means we see a lot of local folks who need stuff welded or machined. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word usually gets around from one person to another. Sometimes we stay late when a job is stubborn, just drinking tea and trying to get a bolt to fit right. The office is just a small corner with a ledger and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It gets quiet at night once the highway traffic thins out. We like the pace here. It is not like the big city where everyone is in a rush for no reason. Here, we take the work as it comes and try to do it right so the customer doesn't have to come back for the same problem twice. It's a simple life, mostly grease, metal, and hard work.
