We are out in the Malini Chhapariya area, which is much quieter and feels more like the countryside. The road to get here can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. Our building is a sturdy one, made of brick and concrete, and it stays relatively cool even when the Gujarat sun is beating down. Inside, we have a main room where most of the work happens and a smaller side room for all the storage. We have stacks of paper and old technical manuals that nobody has touched in years, but we keep them anyway. The air is different out here in Savgarh, it feels a bit fresher than the center of Himatnagar. We have a small yard where we sometimes park our bikes and sit for a break. Most of our work involves local projects and coordinating with people in the nearby towns. We use basic laptops and a very old printer that makes a lot of noise when it starts up. It is not a high-speed environment, but we get our tasks done eventually. We have a few windows that look out onto the fields nearby. It is a very grounded place to work and we like the peace and quiet.
