We are located at Plot No. A/19 in New Durga Bazar, right here in Himatnagar. Being near the railway crossing means we hear the trains go by all the time, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our shop is right in the middle of the market area, so it’s always busy with people coming and going. It’s not the biggest place, and sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but it’s our space and we like it. We’ve been running Patel & Co. from this spot for a long time. It’s mostly just family and a few helpers who have been with us for years. We don't bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth in Himatnagar is usually enough to keep us busy. The shelves are packed with stuff, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we’re looking for, but we always find it. We don't have any big corporate mission or fancy talk. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when it's time to go home. It’s a very basic way of running things, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We’re just regular people trying to keep the business going in New Durga Bazar. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a truck, but we just deal with it as it happens. There is no point in getting stressed over the little things when you have work to do.
