Fortune Consultants

We’re over at Shop No 2 in the Ig Dadu Chawl. It’s right near Makhdoom High School. If you know the area, you know it’s a lively spot. There are always kids around and people going about their business. Fortune Consultants is just a small shop. We don’t have a lot of room, but we make it work. We do consulting, which means people come to us with questions about property or legal bits and pieces. We aren't lawyers, but we’ve been around the block enough times to know how things work. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when a few people come in at once. We usually just pull up an extra chair. It’s a friendly place. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes for regular work. Being near the school means things are loud in the afternoons, but we don’t mind. It feels like part of the community. We help our neighbors with their paperwork and give advice when we can. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time. People know they can just walk in and ask a question. We don't charge for every little thing. Sometimes it's just about helping someone out so they don't get cheated. It’s not a high-end agency, but it’s ours, and we like being part of the neighborhood. Most days we’re just sitting here with the door open, waiting to see who stops by next.
