We are based out in Zinzva, which is a small place in the Prantij Taluka. It’s a more rural part of the Sabarkantha district here in Gujarat, so things move a bit slower. Our setup at the post is quite basic because we spend most of our actual hours out in the field. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see in the city. We just have a roof over our heads and a place to keep the equipment and files dry. The air is a bit fresher out here, which is a nice change of pace for the team. We work on various construction jobs all across this region. Most of the people working here are from nearby villages or have moved here specifically to work on the project. It’s a pretty tight-knit group. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. We just show up, do the labor, and move on to the next task on the list. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. There’s a lot of dust from the unpaved roads, but that’s just part of the job. We have our small team and we know all the local suppliers by their first names. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up.
