Our place is out on the Himmatnagar-Ahmedabad Highway, right in the Ceramic Zone near Salal. We are based in Dalpur, in the Prantij area. Being out here makes sense because this is where all the ceramic work happens. It’s a dusty place and it gets very hot in the summer, but that’s part of the job when you’re dealing with kilns and tiles. We have a fairly large space for the production and storage of our ceramic products. It’s not a fancy office at all. It’s more of a factory and warehouse setup. You can hear the machines running from the moment you pull into the lot. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. Most of the workers live nearby in the local villages. We spend our days checking the quality of the batches and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly for transport. The highway is always busy with big lorries, so getting in and out can be a bit tricky sometimes. We don’t have a big sales team in suits. We mostly just deal with the distributors who know us. It’s hard work and it’s messy, but we take pride in what we make. There isn’t much to do around here except work, but we have a good group of people who have been with us for years. We just keep the production line moving and handle the orders as they come.
