Down at Plot 125 in Ganeshpura, Modasa, the day usually starts with a lot of phone calls. We handle engineering parts and marketing, so it’s a lot of talk about technical specs and shipping times. The GIDC area here is always humming with activity, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We’ve got shelves full of catalogs and parts that we’ve been organizing for years. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see, but it works for us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a second to breathe. Modasa can get quite hot in the summer, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We deal with a lot of local guys who need specific bits for their machines. It's mostly about knowing who needs what and when. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or anything like that. Usually, it's just us scribbling notes on a pad while talking to someone on the line. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lane outside, and we have to go out and help guide them in. It's just the way things are in this part of town. We’ve got a small team, and we all know how to handle the different parts of the job. It's just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving as best as we can. It gets noisy with the traffic, but we are used to it by now.
