You can find Sjf Philanthropic Organisation at Flat 701, in Tower 10 of Royale Estate 2. We’re located in Peermuchalla, which is near Dhakauli in the Zirakpur part of Mohali. Since we’re on the seventh floor, it’s usually pretty quiet compared to the street level. We work out of this flat rather than a traditional office building. It’s got a kitchen and a small balcony where we sometimes take breaks. The living room area is where we’ve set up our main workstations. It’s a bit of an informal setup, but it works well for our small team. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, if someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door goes to answer it. We spend most of our time on our laptops or having small meetings around the dining table. Zirakpur is always busy, so we appreciate the calm of the seventh floor. Sometimes the lift in Tower 10 goes out of service, and then we have to walk up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We aren't trying to be a big corporate group. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep this organization running smoothly. We handle all our own filing and cleaning. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We’ve been here for a bit now and it feels like the right place for us. It’s simple and honest.
