People usually find us because they’re already heading to Gopal Sweets and see our sign. We are up on the first floor of Sco No. 3 on Commercial Complex Road here in Kharar. It is not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular office where we get things done. Most days, the place is a bit of a mess with blueprints and files everywhere, but that’s just how we work. The stairs are a bit steep, so take your time coming up. We have been in this part of Chandigarh for a while now and we know the local rhythms pretty well. Sometimes the noise from the road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sketching out ideas for people who walk in. It is mostly just us trying to keep projects on track without too much fuss. We do not have a receptionist sitting at a front desk, so if you come in, just shout hello and someone will come out from the back. We like being in this neighborhood because everything is close by. If we need a quick snack, we just go behind the building. It is a practical spot for a business like ours. We don’t do big presentations; we just sit down at the table and talk through what needs to happen. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office.
