We’ve been running Shergill Travel Pvt Ltd out of Sector 17 for quite a while now. Most people know us because we’re right across from the GPO on the first floor. It’s a busy spot in Chandigarh, and we also have the office over in Phase 11 Mohali. We mostly just help folks get their tickets sorted and handle the usual travel paperwork that comes up. It gets pretty hectic some days, especially when everyone wants to go on holiday at the same time, but we manage. We aren't a big fancy chain or anything, just a group of people working out of Sco-53-55. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and computers, but we get the job done. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and we might be a bit slow to answer if we’re helping someone at the counter, but that’s just how it goes. If you’re walking around Sector 17D, you’ll see our sign. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. We just try to keep things straightforward for whoever walks through the door. It doesn't matter if it's a short trip or something further away, we just look at the screens and find what's available. Dealing with travel plans can be a headache for people, so they come here to let us deal with the booking sites and the fine print. We are just regular people doing a regular job every day.
