Saga Chemtech & Detergent Ltd.

We’ve been here at C-9 in the Phase-I industrial area for a good while now. It’s mostly just us and the machines. Every morning starts about the same, turning the lights on and checking the tanks for the detergent mixes. It gets pretty loud once everything is running, so we usually have to shout over the noise if we need something. The floor stays a bit slick sometimes despite how much we scrub it. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where things get made and moved out. We spend a lot of time looking at the inventory and making sure the chemicals are stored right. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. There’s always a truck backing in or leaving, so you have to watch your step. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just get on with it. It’s hard work, and by the time five o'clock rolls around, everyone is ready to head home. We keep the equipment in decent shape, but it's older stuff that needs a bit of looking after. It’s just how things go here at Saga Chemtech. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workspace and the loading dock. It works for what we do.
