Pal Mohinder Architect

Our place is at House No.262/2, Sector-55. It’s a standard residential building that we converted into a workspace for Pal Mohinder Architect. Since it’s a house, it feels a bit more comfortable than a regular office. We use the main room for the drafting tables and the smaller rooms for meetings or just keeping our supplies tucked away. There’s always a bit of dust from the site visits we do, and the shoes by the door usually tell you who’s in that day. It’s a quiet neighborhood, so we don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic, which is fine because it lets us focus on the drawings without too many interruptions. We spend a lot of time arguing about where a window should go or how to save space in a small room. It’s mostly just us and our computers. We’ve got a few plants that have seen better days, but they add a bit of life to the corners of the room. Most of the time, the air is filled with the sound of clicking mice and someone humming while they think about a structural problem. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few framed photos of buildings we’ve worked on in the past. It’s a very practical environment. If someone calls, they’re usually talking to the person who is actually drawing their house. We like keeping it small and direct like that.
