Neena Crockeries

Neena Crockeries is situated at D-148, Phase 7 in the Industrial Area. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of crates and boxes piled up almost to the ceiling. We deal with all kinds of plates, bowls, and glass items, so we have to be really careful how we move around. The industrial area is always noisy with trucks and other factories nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our floor is mostly concrete and it gets a bit dusty because of all the cardboard. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom feel. It’s more of a warehouse where we keep everything ready for the local shops and buyers. Sometimes a plate breaks during unloading, and that’s just part of the business, though we try to keep it to a minimum. There are only a few of us working here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from moving boxes to writing out the invoices. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with an old computer that takes a while to start up. We eat our lunch together on one of the packing tables. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. We just focus on keeping the inventory straight and getting the orders out of the door without too much trouble.
