Working out of a residential colony like this makes the business feel more like part of the neighborhood. We don’t have a big glass building; we just have our office in a regular house where we can sit down and focus. Ropar is a nice place to work, and being in Sukhram Colony means it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market areas. We do a lot of work promoting and building properties around here. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and city planning maps. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing out on the street while we’re inside trying to figure out a budget or a timeline. It’s a very human way to run a company. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to build things that people in Rupnagar can actually use. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors. It’s not always easy, and there are days when nothing seems to go right, but that’s just how the building trade is. We’ve been here for a while and we plan on staying. It’s just us, doing our best with what we have, and trying to keep the projects moving along through the heat.
