Model Plus

Model Plus is located over in Sector 14. If you’re looking for us, we are at Serve No 45 508. It’s a bit of a specific address, but once you find the building, you can’t miss where we are. The space is filled with a lot of different things—mostly physical models, scraps of wood, and plenty of glue. It smells a bit like sawdust and adhesive most days, which I’ve actually grown to like. We aren't the type of people who sit around in suits all day. Most of the time, we have dust on our clothes from working on a scale model or measuring something out. Sector 14 is a decent area to work in; it’s got a good balance of being busy but not so loud that you can't think. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the shelves are getting pretty crowded with old projects that we haven't had the heart to throw away yet. Some of the models are falling apart a bit, but they remind us of what we’ve done. The light in the morning is the best time to work, so we usually get an early start before the heat really sets in. It’s a simple setup, really. A few big tables, some good lamps, and enough space to move around without bumping into each other too much. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. Sometimes the glue takes a long time to dry, so we just sit and talk about the next step or clean up some of the mess.
