Mehta Art

Mehta Art is based out in Nangal Village, which is part of the Anandpur Sahib Tehsil. We are quite close to the Nangal Dam, so we get a bit of a breeze from that direction sometimes. Our workspace is more like a traditional studio than a modern office. We have brushes, paints, and palettes scattered all over the place. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, and that helps when we are trying to focus on a piece of work. We’ve been here for years, and most of the people in the village know where to find us. We don't use a lot of fancy high-tech equipment; it’s mostly just our hands and some basic tools. The walls of the shop are covered in old sketches and bits of dried paint. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where we feel at home. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice to work on larger pieces. Being near the dam and the hills gives us a nice backdrop for our daily routine. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or seeing our work in the local area. We just take our time with each job and try to make sure it looks decent before it goes out. It’s a slow pace of life here in Nangal, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
