At Kumari Raj Architect, our office is located at 282 in Badheri, Sector 41-D. It’s a pretty simple place where we handle all our architectural work. We don't have a big corporate sign or a glass-fronted building. It’s a modest setup that allows us to focus on the plans we are drawing. The office is often filled with rolls of paper and various pens. We spend a lot of time calculating measurements and looking at building codes. It’s not a high-pressure environment with lots of people rushing around. Usually, it’s just a couple of us working through the details of a new project. We like being in Badheri because it feels more like a neighborhood. People often drop by to ask questions or check on the progress of their home designs. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to clients. We just explain how the space will work and what the practical steps are. Sometimes we go out to the sites to see how the construction is matching up with our drawings. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that’s just the nature of the job. Our desks are usually a bit of a mess with sketches and notes, but we have a system that works for us. It’s a small, honest practice where we just try to do good work every day and make sure the buildings we design are solid and functional for the people using them.
