Kidzee Morinda

You can find us at House No 37 on College Road in Morinda. It is a quiet street for the most part, except for when the local college students are heading to their classes. Our school is basically a house that we converted into a space for kids. It has a small yard in front where we have some swings and a slide. The grass needs cutting pretty often during the rainy season in Ropar. Inside, the rooms are cozy. We use the living area as a main play zone and the bedrooms have been turned into small classrooms. We keep the gate closed because it is right on the road. The morning starts with us sweeping the porch and setting out the toys. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so their grandparents often drop them off and stay for a quick chat. It’s a small town, so everyone knows who we are. We don't have a big cafeteria; the kids just bring their own tiffin boxes and eat together on the mats. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside during our break to get some fresh air. The air in Morinda is usually better than in the big cities, which is nice. By late afternoon, most of the kids are gone and we spend some time putting the blocks back into their bins. It is a simple routine that we have followed for years.
