You can find us at 1083 in Sector 69. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which helps when you need to focus on detailed drawings. Kaur Sukhwinder Architect isn’t a massive firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller operation where we actually know everyone’s name and how they take their coffee. The office is pretty straightforward. We’ve got shelves full of old files and samples of tiles or wood that have piled up over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens, trying to get the lines straight on a new house plan. Sometimes people just drop by to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof, and that’s fine. We don’t mind the interruptions at all. Sector 69 has grown a lot since we first set up here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our windows over the seasons. The work is steady. We handle the paperwork, the design side, and the inevitable headaches that come with construction. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of dust from site visits and endless tea to keep us going through the long afternoons. We aren't interested in being the biggest name in town. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and the people we work for are satisfied with the result. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
