About Kaur Navneet Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Rupnagar
Being an architect means a lot of hours sitting at a desk covered in drawings and half-empty coffee cups. Here at H.No.1101 in Phase-9, that’s exactly what the daily life looks like. It’s not a big corporate office building with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s more of a personal space where the actual work happens. Kaur Navneet Architect started out because there was a need for someone local to handle the practical side of building stuff. We spend a lot of time staring at computer screens or sketching out ideas on whatever scrap paper is handy. Phase-9 is a pretty quiet area, which helps when you need to concentrate on a complicated floor plan. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and peek in while we are busy measuring things or arguing over where a wall should go. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to sell you something you don't need. Usually, it's just about getting the lines right and making sure the dimensions work out. The shelves are full of old samples and books that we’ve gathered over the years. It gets a bit dusty in the corners but that’s just part of a working office. We like the way the light comes through the window in the afternoon. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do every day. No one here wears a tie unless they absolutely have to for a meeting.
