I started doing this a while ago here in Phase-3B2. It is just me and a small team working out of my place at House No. 951. People usually stop by when they have a plot or need some help with their house plans. Drawing and looking at sites around Mohali takes up most of our time. It gets busy sometimes, especially when the weather is good for building. Since I have lived here for a long time, the local rules are pretty familiar to me. This isn't a big fancy office, just a workspace with a lot of papers and computers. Floor plans and getting approvals from the authorities are the usual things we handle. Most folks find us through word of mouth. On some days, we are out on-site all day and the office stays empty, but we try to get back to everyone who calls eventually. Making sure things line up is a lot of work, but we have been doing it for years now. Even though the traffic in Mohali has changed quite a bit, being in 3B2 is still convenient for visitors. Our focus is on the drawings and making sure the construction guys know what they are doing. It is practical work. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. Most days start with a lot of tea while we look over old sketches. We have a lot of blueprints filed away in cabinets that are starting to get a bit full.
