Kapoor $ Sons

Kapoor $ Sons is located at number 11, Kapoor Lane. We are right opposite the Arya Samaj Mandir. It's a busy corner because of the temple. You can hear the bells and the people gathering during the day. The lane is actually named after the family, so we have deep roots in this particular spot. The building is old, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the summer. It’s a family-run place, so you’ll usually see a few of us hanging around the front or working in the back. There is always a lot of chatter going on. We have an old wooden counter that’s been there for decades. It’s got scratches and marks from years of use. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. The walls have some old calendars and a few photos. People often stop by on their way to the Mandir just to say hello. It's a friendly atmosphere. We keep things pretty simple. There isn't a big corporate structure or anything like that. Just the Kapoors and the daily routine. We open up early, sweep the front, and get started. Sometimes it gets hectic when there is a festival at the temple, and the lane gets blocked with people, but we just go with the flow. It’s been our way for a very long time now. We keep our ledgers by hand and stay organized in our own way.
