This is Kalsi Gaganpreet Kuar Architect. You can find me at B-37 in Phase-3 of the Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where I have my space. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise from the nearby factories and trucks moving around. I don't mind it much. My office is pretty basic. I spend my time drawing up plans and dealing with the technical side of building. I’ve been an architect for some time now. I don't go for the high-end, flashy stuff you see in magazines. I prefer working on real buildings for real people. It’s about getting the measurements right and making sure everything is legal and safe. I work mostly on my own, so if you call, you're talking to me. There isn't a team of assistants. Phase-3 is a practical place to be. I deal with a lot of local clients who are setting up shops or small factories. We sit down, look at the site, and I figure out how to make it work. It’s a lot of back and forth with the paperwork. I just try to be straightforward. People appreciate that. I’m usually there from morning until late afternoon, unless I’m out at a site. That's the way I like to work. It’s quiet in my head even if the street outside is loud.
