The Institute Of Testing And Certification India Pvt Ltd is set up at Plot No. 146 in the JLPL Industrial Area. This is over in Sector 82 of SAS Nagar, which is a place that has seen a lot of new buildings go up recently. Our facility is where we handle various types of testing and look over certifications for different products. It’s a fairly large plot, so we have enough room for the equipment and the desks for the staff. The atmosphere here is a bit more serious than a retail shop because we have to pay a lot of attention to the details of the reports we write. We spend a lot of time following protocols and making sure the numbers are right before anything is finalized. It’s not the most exciting work for everyone, but it is what we do every day. The industrial area can get pretty dusty with all the construction and trucks moving around outside. We usually have lunch together in the small break room or sometimes go out if someone has a car and some time to spare.
