Harveen Khurana Architect

I run my practice out of my place at H.No.1630 in Phase 3, Mohali. It is in the B-2 section of SAS Nagar. It is a quiet residential area, which is nice for when I need to concentrate on drawings. I have been working as an architect for quite a while now. It is mostly just me and a couple of helpers. We do not have a big corporate office with a receptionist. If the phone rings, I usually answer it myself. I spend my days sketching out ideas and then turning them into proper plans on the computer. It is a lot of work, but I enjoy seeing things go from a rough idea to a real building. Most of my projects are local houses or small commercial spots around Mohali. I like being able to drive over to a site in ten minutes to see how the brickwork is looking. People around here know me as someone who just gets on with the job. I do not use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. I just want to make sure the kitchen is in the right place and the stairs are not too steep. Sometimes the paperwork with the city takes forever, and that is the part I like the least. But when a project is finally finished and the family moves in, it feels like it was worth all the effort. It is a simple life but a good one.
