Grasim Ind Ltd(White Cement Division)

Up in Sector-14 of Chandigarh, right near the University area, is where you’ll find our White Cement Division. Our address is 289-B, and it’s a pretty straightforward place. Being near P.U. means there are always students and people around, which keeps the energy up. Grasim Ind Ltd has this spot specifically for the white cement side of things. The office isn't large. It’s just enough space for our desks and a place for people to sit if they come by to talk business. We don't have big advertisements on the walls. Mostly, it's just calendars and maybe a map. Chandigarh is a planned city, so finding us isn't too hard, but the sector layout can sometimes confuse people who aren't from here. We spend our mornings catching up on emails and checking the stock levels. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. We don't use polished language because we’re just regular people. If the printer stops working, one of us has to fix it. If the tea runs out, someone goes to the shop. It’s a very normal, local way of operating. We don't have a big corporate culture; we just have a small group of people trying to do their jobs well. We’ve been in 160014 for a while now and we like the rhythm of this part of town.
