Ernst Young Pvt Ltd is on the first floor of House No 941 in Phase 3B2, Mohali. If you know this part of Punjab, you know it's a busy area with a lot of houses that have been turned into workspaces. We are right in the middle of it. The first floor is where we spend most of our time. It has a balcony that looks over the street, though we don't go out there much because of the dust and noise. Inside, the rooms are fairly large but we’ve filled them up with cabinets and workstations. It’s not a shiny new building; it’s an older house that has seen a lot of use over the years. We like it here because it’s close to the market and we can easily grab lunch or a tea from the stalls nearby. The stairs are on the side of the house. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is just part of being in this neighborhood. We keep the fans going most of the time because the ceilings are high and it gets warm. It’s a practical setup for us. There’s a lot of coming and going during the day with various people dropping off papers. We don’t really do anything fancy with the decor, just some basic chairs and tables that we’ve had for a while. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place to work. We have a small kitchen corner for heating up our tiffins at lunchtime. The pin code here is 160059.
