Emson Engineers

Emson Engineers is located in Phase 7 of the Industrial Area, specifically in Sector 73. We’re quite close to the Railway Station Road, so the sound of the trains is a regular part of our day. The workshop isn’t a place with fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s a real industrial unit with oil-stained floors and metal shavings in the corners. We do a lot of mechanical work and part manufacturing here. Most of our days are spent at the machines or over a workbench with a set of calipers and a drawing. It’s the kind of place where you learn to work with the heat and the noise. We have a small team of guys who have been doing this for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We get all kinds of people coming in from the nearby station road area looking for help with repairs or wanting something built for their own shops. We don't have a marketing department or a mission statement pinned to the wall. We just show up, turn on the power, and get to work on the metal. It’s a very hands-on life. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing them before we can even start on our orders, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We just try to do a decent job so that things work the way they’re supposed to.
