Ekmuskaan Human Welfare Association

You can find us at the Mahalaxami Building, number 440, in Sector 70. This is in the Mattor area of SAS Nagar, Mohali. It’s a busy part of town, right in the heart of Punjab. Ekmuskaan Human Welfare Association has its office here. It’s not a very big space, just a regular floor in the building where we keep our files and meet up. There’s always a lot of noise from the street below, but we’ve gotten used to it. The people who work here are just regular residents of Mohali. We don't have a polished corporate image. Some days the office is a bit messy with flyers and documents everywhere. We just try to stay busy with the welfare work we’ve started. People from around Sector 70 know the building well. It’s easy to get to by local transport. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who walk in. No one here is wearing a suit or trying to sell anything. We are just an association of folks who think human welfare is important enough to spend our time on. Most of us have other things going on too, so we rotate who is in the office. It’s a collective effort, very grassroots. We don't have any big slogans. We just show up, do the work, and go home. That’s our daily routine here at Mahalaxami Building.
