We work out of a 2BHK flat on the first floor of the Grcia G8M Bhakti Complex. It’s located on Ropar Road in the Khanpur Kharar area of Rupnagar. Being in a residential-style building at number 631 makes the office feel a bit more comfortable than a regular commercial space. We have set up our drawing boards in the main living area, which has plenty of room for us to spread out large blueprints. The traffic on Ropar Road is constant, so there’s always a bit of background noise. We have a small kitchen corner where we make our tea and coffee. The walls are covered with sketches and old site photographs. It can get a little crowded when we have everyone in the office at once, but we don't mind it much. We don't have a big lobby or a secretary. People usually just knock on the door. Sometimes the doorbell acts up, so you have to knock loud. We have samples of stones, bricks, and wood tucked into the corners of the rooms. The office is a bit of a mess most of the time, with paper rolls and measuring tapes everywhere. We enjoy the local atmosphere here in Kharar. There are some good places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We aren't a big, fancy firm with a high-rise office. We just do our work from this flat and stay busy with our projects. It's a simple life.
