I work out of my house at number 2617 in Sector-67, Mohali. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s a lot quieter than being in the middle of a commercial district. I’ve turned part of the place into a studio where I do all my architectural drafting and planning. It’s a simple setup, mostly just me and my equipment. I’ve lived in Mohali for a long time, so I know the layout of the sectors and the local building codes pretty well. People from around the area usually get in touch when they’re thinking about building a house or adding an extra room. We sit down in the studio and go over what they have in mind. I spend a lot of time at the drawing board or on the computer, making sure the measurements are exact. It’s a lot of solitary work, but I like it that way because I can focus on the details. Sector-67 is a nice area, and having the office here makes it easy for local clients to drop by without having to deal with city traffic. I don't have a big staff or a fancy office front. It’s just a working space where I get the work done. I handle everything from the initial sketches to the final blueprints. It’s a steady pace of work, and I take on one project at a time to make sure nothing gets rushed. It’s how I’ve always preferred to run things.
