Amrinder Paul Singh Architect

I started this place here in Mohali, specifically in Phase-9 at 1402 Hig, quite some time ago. It is just me, Amrinder Paul Singh, working as an architect. People often ask what I do, and mostly it is just drawing up plans and making sure things stand up straight. I spend a lot of my day at the desk or sometimes out at a site if there is a problem with how a wall is going up. The office isn't anything fancy. It's just where the work gets done. Living and working in Mohali means I know the local rules pretty well, which helps when dealing with the authorities. I don't have a big team or a fancy receptionist. If you call, you usually just get me. Sometimes the phone rings while I am eating lunch, so I might call back a bit later. I handle residential projects mostly, but I've looked at all sorts of buildings over the years. It is a steady job, and I like seeing a project go from a messy sketch on paper to a real house someone lives in. There is a lot of paperwork involved in architecture that people don't see, and I spend more time on that than I'd like. But that's just how the business is. I’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the neighbors know where to find me if they need a quick question answered about a renovation.
