Akhtar Rakib Architect

You can find us on the Second Floor of 123, Sector-68. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we like the view from up here. Akhtar Rakib Architect is a small setup where we focus on getting our plans drawn up correctly. Sector-68 is a developing area, so there is always some construction going on nearby. Our office has big windows that let in a lot of light, which helps when we are working on detailed drawings. We have a few drafting boards and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The floor is usually covered in some scraps of paper or pencil shavings. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. It is a very hands-on way to work. We spend our mornings checking measurements and our afternoons in discussions about how to fix certain design issues. Being on the second floor of 123 gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise. Sector-68 has its own character, and we have become part of the local scene over the years. We aren't into the corporate polish or making things sound more complicated than they are. We just take the projects as they come and try to do a solid job. It is a simple life in the office, and that suits us just fine.
