Agriculture & Company

If you climb up to the second floor of S.C.O.-521 in Sector-70, you’ll find our little setup. Agriculture & Company is the name on the directory, though we mostly just think of it as the place where we work. It’s a standard office space with a few windows looking out over the street. Sometimes it’s noisy outside with all the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We deal with various agricultural matters, mostly coordination and keeping records. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it keeps us busy and pays the rent. The desks are usually covered in files and empty tea cups. We don’t have any of those modern gadgets or fancy lounge areas you see in big cities. It’s just a practical space where we can get through the daily checklist. Every morning starts about the same, unlocking the door and turning on the lights. Some days are slower than others, and we might spend more time talking about the news than actual work. We’ve been here in Sector-70 for quite a while now, so we know the local tea stall guy and the postman pretty well. It feels like home in a way. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing without making much of a fuss about it. That’s pretty much how we’ve always operated here in this office.
