Sangiom Boutiqe

We are located in B1-16/11 at the Metropolis City Apartment. It’s right behind the Radisson Hotel, so it’s easy to find if you know that landmark. Being in an apartment complex makes it feel more personal. Sangiom Boutiqe is where we do our designing and tailoring. It’s not like those big malls. We have a few sewing machines and a lot of fabric lying around. Customers come in for fittings and we chat about what they want. Sometimes we have tea together while deciding on a border or a button style. It’s a bit informal, but we take the work seriously. The light in the room is good during the afternoon, which helps with the fine stitching. We don't have a huge staff. It’s just a couple of us who enjoy making clothes that fit right. We often have music playing in the background while we work. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but people don't seem to mind. We aren't looking to become a massive chain. We just like the creative side of making one-off pieces. It’s a quiet spot away from the main road noise. We keep a notebook of measurements for all our regulars. It’s simpler that way. Most days, we’re just busy with a tape measure and some chalk.
