Out here at Plot No. 40 in Sector-3 of the industrial area in Udham Singh Nagar, things move at their own pace. It is a large plot with enough space for our production and storage needs. The Iie-Industrial Area is quite big, so people sometimes get lost trying to find our specific gate. We have a big metal gate and a small guard shack at the front. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages or the local towns. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot in the factory. The factory floor is where most of the activity happens. There is a lot of stainless steel equipment and the constant sound of packaging machines running. We don't have a corporate office with carpets and glass partitions. Our office is just a small room with a few metal desks and a lot of paper files stacked up. We prefer it that way because we can be close to the production and see what is happening. The winters here can be quite cold, so we all wear heavy jackets to work and drink a lot of tea. In the rainy season, the roads around the sector get a bit muddy and difficult, but we manage to get the work done. We just focus on making sure the batches are produced correctly and the trucks are loaded on time for delivery. It is hard work, but it is honest work for everyone involved.
