Intime Fire Appliances Private Limited is located at D-24/6 in the TTC Industrial Area of MIDC Turbhe. Being in Navi Mumbai means we deal with a lot of humidity which we have to keep in mind when storing our fire safety equipment. Our facility is where we keep all the red extinguishers and the hoses that you see in buildings. We spend a lot of our time checking valves and making sure the pressure gauges are reading correctly. It is a serious kind of work because these things have to work when there is trouble. The TTC area is very crowded and the roads can be a bit of a mess during the monsoon season. We have a team of technicians who are often out on the road visiting different sites while the rest of us stay back to manage the warehouse. There is always a lot of paperwork to fill out regarding safety standards and inspections. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is mostly just racks of equipment and a few desks for the staff. We eat our lunch together in the small break room and talk about the local news or the traffic on the Thane-Belapur road. We have been part of this industrial community for years and most of the neighbors know us by name. We just focus on keeping the stock ready and the equipment in good working order for whoever needs it.
