Khalsa Agency

Khalsa Agency is located at Shop No 256 in Dariya Nagar, over in the Khera area. We are quite close to Jps School, so we get a lot of noise from the kids during their break times and when school lets out. The shop itself is just a simple room with plenty of storage for our stock. We have been in Dariya Nagar for a bit, and we know most of the people on this block. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, except for the school hours. I usually start the day by sweeping the front step and checking what arrived in the last delivery. We don't have a big staff, so we end up doing a bit of everything ourselves, from moving boxes to writing out receipts by hand. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things fall off if you aren't careful when you're reaching for something. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we have our own system that works for us. The building is older, so the walls have a few cracks and the door sticks a little when it’s raining outside. We don't mind it much. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the orders. The local tea seller stops by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a minute to breathe. It’s honest work, and we just keep pushing through the tasks until it is time to close up for the night.
