Our place is on Kunjata Road in Badhapur. It’s a busy road most of the time. We see a lot of families coming in and out because of the maternity side of things. It can get pretty noisy when there are kids around. The building itself is older, but it serves us well. We start early most days to make sure everything is clean and ready. Being on Kunjata Road means we get people from all over this part of Badhapur. We know the shopkeepers nearby. The rhythm of the day usually depends on how many people are waiting in the front room. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just the basics that we need for our work. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the weather is bad, but we manage to keep things going. People know where to find us. We’ve been part of this street for quite some time now. You’ll see the sign when you’re driving down the road. It isn’t tucked away or anything. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and hearing about what’s going on in their lives. That’s the thing about a local place like ours in Badhapur. You get to know everyone after a while. We keep the kettle going in the back for the staff. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here on the road. We do our job and go home.
