Monal Resort

We are based in Rudra Prayag. It's a beautiful area, as anyone who has been here knows. Monal Resort is a place we’ve been running for quite some time now. We aren't some big chain or anything, just a local spot where people can stay when they are visiting this part of the mountains. The daily routine involves a lot of upkeep because the weather can be a bit unpredictable up here. We spend our mornings checking the rooms and making sure the grounds are okay. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but we like it that way. We don't use any fancy management systems; we just talk to our guests and handle things as they come. If someone needs something, they just find one of us and ask. We grew up around these hills, so we know the area well. We try to make sure the place feels comfortable. It’s not about being the most modern place around, but about being reliable. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the maintenance ourselves. Sometimes things break or the electricity flickers, but that's living in Rudra Prayag for you. We just fix it and keep going. We've seen many seasons change from this spot. It’s just how we live and work every day. It is a lot of physical work, especially during the monsoon season, but we stay on top of things as best as we can. We are just here doing our thing.
