Take My Trip

Sundargarh is where we have set up our little office for Take My Trip. It is a quiet enough place, though the phones start ringing pretty early most days. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and checking schedules on the computer. It is mostly about trying to figure out the best way for people to get from one place to another without too much trouble. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their plans. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them. We do not really go in for fancy decorations. It is just a practical space where we can work. Sometimes someone walks in from the street just to ask for directions, and we help them out. The weather in Sundargarh can be a bit unpredictable, so we talk about that a lot while we work. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoons get long. It is not a big corporate operation, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We handle a lot of different requests, and every day feels a little bit different from the one before. We like being in this part of town because it feels familiar and easygoing. There is always some paperwork to file or a booking to double-check before the day ends. It is just our regular routine here in the middle of town.
