So, Smc Power Generation Limited, Orissa is actually operating this specific office out of Ghaziabad. We are located at D-7 in the Punchsheel Colony. It is a bit of a distance from the actual power plants over in Orissa, but this is where a lot of our administrative work happens. Uttar Pradesh is quite a different environment from where the main generation work is, but we make it work just fine. The office here is pretty plain and simple. We have our desks, some old computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. It is not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the city center. It is just a regular spot in a residential colony where we can focus on the numbers and the logistics without too many distractions. Most of the people working here have been with the company for a long time. We spend our days on the phone or answering emails, mostly coordinating between the different sites. It is a lot of back and forth, making sure the supplies are moving and the reports are filed on time for the records. The neighborhood is okay, and we have our usual spots for lunch nearby. It is a practical setup for us. We do not really go in for big missions or slogans. We just have a job to do and we do it from here in Ghaziabad. It is just steady work every day.
