If you head over to the Civil Township in Rourkela, you’ll find us at Q/3. It’s actually a residential address that we use for our work with Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. Using a residence as an office makes the workday feel a bit different than being in a commercial block. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a lot of trees around. We have our desks set up in a way that lets us handle the paperwork and calls without too much distraction. Rourkela is a solid place to be, especially with all the industry around. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the local rhythms. There isn't a big lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us buried in a report or talking to a foreman on the phone. The office is a bit lived-in, with tea mugs on the tables and piles of documents that need filing. We don't worry too much about having everything look perfect. What matters is that the work gets done and the sites have what they need. Sometimes the local power goes out and we just take a break until it comes back. It’s a relaxed but busy atmosphere. We like being in the Civil Township because it’s easy to get around from here. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business without all the corporate fluff.
