Raj Construction

Raj Construction is located on the 2nd floor of the Vijaya Bank Building in Sundargarh, Orissa. It’s easy to find because most people go to that bank anyway. The office is pretty basic, with some old chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy setup. We just need a place to plan out our next jobs. Being in Orissa means we deal with some heavy rain, and that can really mess with a building schedule. We just take it as it comes. There’s a small group of us here. We handle local building work, mostly residential stuff for people in the area. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work, so you have to take the stairs to the second floor. It’s not ideal but it keeps us moving. We don't have a marketing team or a bunch of slogans. We just talk to people about what they want to build and how much it’s going to cost. It’s practical work. We’ve been at this address for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. You can usually find us looking over some sketches or talking to contractors on the phone. We don't pretend to be something we’re not. We just build houses and fix things that are broken. It’s honest work for local folks, and we’ve been doing it for enough years to know the ropes around here.
