Golden Electronics

Golden Electronics is situated right by Jamuna Ke Turning, very close to the Vedvyas Chowk. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy junction where people are always moving. We’ve been here at this spot for quite some time, dealing with all sorts of electronic goods. It’s a bit of a tight space, filled with boxes and parts for various appliances. People come in with televisions, radios, and all kinds of home gadgets that have stopped working. We spend our days testing circuits and soldering connections. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially with the road right there. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, it's more of a workshop where you can see us working on the repairs. We talk to the customers directly across the counter. Sometimes we have to tell people their old sets aren't worth fixing, which is never fun. But mostly, we just do our best to get things back in order. The noise from the Chowk is constant, but it becomes background noise after a few weeks. We started this small shop because we had a knack for electronics. There’s no big management team here, just a few of us who know how to use a multimeter. We stay open late most nights because that's when people are off work and can bring their things in. It’s a simple life behind the counter.
