Global Hose & Fittings

You can find us at Plot No. C-10 in the Industrial Estate area of Rourkela, right on Jail Road. It’s a typical industrial setting with lots of other workshops and small factories nearby. We deal mainly with hoses and different types of fittings, so the shop is full of coils of rubber and crates of brass and steel parts. It smells a bit like new rubber in here most of the time. The building is a simple concrete structure that gets pretty warm in the afternoon sun. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Usually, it’s just us answering the phone and helping whoever walks through the door with a broken hose in their hand. We try to keep a good stock of the common sizes so people don't have to wait too long. The road outside can get a bit bumpy with all the heavy trucks, but that’s just part of being in an industrial estate. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regular maintenance guys from the plants nearby. We don't spend money on fancy signs; we just keep the shelves organized and make sure we have what people need. It’s a straightforward job and we like the routine of it. We have a small radio in the corner that plays the local stations, which helps drown out the noise from the traffic outside.
