De Souzas School

We are located in Sector 2 of Rourkela. De Souzas School is a familiar spot for the people living in this part of the city. It’s a neighborhood school, really. Most of the students live close enough to walk or take a short cycle ride. The building is a basic concrete structure, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just rows of classrooms and a small office where we handle all the paperwork. Rourkela is an industrial place, and our school reflects that kind of no-nonsense attitude. We don't have flashy equipment or high-tech labs. We have teachers who know their subjects and students who want to pass their exams. The playground is a bit dusty, but it gets the job done. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building quite hard, so it can get warm. We just open the windows and keep going. It’s a community feel here. You see the parents chatting at the gate every afternoon. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a place for education in Sector 2. We’ve been here for years, and most people around here went to this school themselves or know someone who did. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school.
