Sharma Gagandeep Architect

Out in Vpo-Dher, which is near Anandpur Sahib in the Ropar district, is where I work. My name is Sharma Gagandeep and I do architecture stuff from this small office. It is a different vibe out here compared to the big cities. Things move a bit slower, which is fine by me. The office is part of the village area, so you see cows walking past the window and people going to the fields in the morning. It is quiet mostly, except when there is a festival or a tractor goes by on the road. I don't have a big staff, it is mostly just me and sometimes a helper. People from the village and nearby areas come to see me about building their homes or fixing up their shops. I don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people just know where I live and work. My desk is usually covered in blueprints and measuring tapes. I spend a lot of time driving out to sites in the district. The roads can be rough, especially after it rains, but you get used to it. Anandpur Sahib is close enough if I need to get supplies or meet someone for a bigger project. I like working in Ropar. It is home. The office gets cold in the winter and pretty hot in the summer, but we have a small heater and a fan. It is a humble place, just a room with some tables.
