Ais

Our place is called Ais, and you can find us in Nangal Town. Specifically, we are at 139 Kiln Area, which is right near where Dr. S L Verma lives. It’s in the Ropar district of Punjab. The area is quite industrious because of all the kilns, so there is often a bit of dust in the air and a lot of heavy trucks passing by on the main road. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a sturdy brick place that stays relatively cool during the peak of the summer. We’ve been part of this little community for a long time now. Most people around here know the address well and stop by if they need something. Inside, the walls are a bit bare and the furniture is all mismatched, but it’s comfortable enough for us to work in. We handle different kinds of local work depending on what is needed at the time. It’s the kind of business where you know your neighbors and their families by name. We don’t spend any money on advertising because word of mouth in a place like Nangal is much more important anyway. Usually, we start the day early before the sun gets too hot. There is always a pot of water and some clean glasses sitting out for anyone who drops by for a visit. We don’t have a mission statement, we just show up and do what needs doing.
